Charter Communications. LLC / Spectrum

Everyone expects AT&T to be the trouble maker when it comes to consumers rights and billing.

2019 September 5th started what has to be the worst customer service I have recieved from an ISP.

What started out as a simple request for an Internet outage would turn into something unexpected altogether.

For anyone reading this we as consumers do not have rights of any kind according to CHARTER/SPECTRUM  and Mr. Thomas Rutledge the self entitled CEO, Chaorman of the board and President of Spectrum maybe even Charter.

It started with me calling Spectrum to alert them to the outages we were experiencing.

The dispatcher told me things that I expected the tech to do. The tech arrives and share what the dispatcher and I discussed in case he didn't get updated.

The tech then told me that the dispatcher doesn't know what they are talking about.

That seems like the right and left hands have no idea about what the other is doing.

So the tech replaces my still perfectly working modem with one just like it. Looked at some connections and said it all checks out.

This tech was pretty friendly and not rude, just surprised me he said anything negative about a coworker. Even if that statement was true and accurate, you don't do that as it is so unprofessional. And, really poor taste.

The problems were all due to a new subdivision being built when Spectrums Intenret wire was damaged just enough to cause issues down thr line from it.

It was appalling to listen to Spectrum dispatch or techs lie about why the Internet was having so many issues.

The problem required another call and again dispatch said one thing and the tech thos time was downright rude and almost snarky

Dispatch stated that the tech would come out and write a request to have the line tech come out.

When the tech arrived as I did with the first one I explained what dispatch person had said.

The tech flat out said he wasn't here to do that and he will fix whatever is wrong before he leaves. Said in a short rude as if I was wasting his time type of voice and body language.

He also made it 100% clear that no one in dispatch has a clue snd are all a bunch of idiots.

The tech pointed out the 11 years of being a tech and fixing anything he encountered.

I asked what he will be doing l, he hurried through what he was going to do as he told me. He treated me as if I was barely able to understand English and was as much an idiiot as the his coworkers.

Nothing the tech did helped, and to too it off the disconnected the splitter for our business line.

See Spectrum doesn't expect us common folk to understand things. However we lost Internet to BOTH our business and residential line at the same time each time it went out.

That happens when a cable connector is damaged and is now like an intermittent ground connection or more like the thingy is not sending the other thingt to the thingy in our house so that we can see pretty pictures on our thingies.

So I asked what happens if everything he does fails to work?

The rolling if the eyes could not be done any harder. The gasp as if insulted by my question topped it all off... His reply, It will work.

I asked again, what do I tell dispatch if it doesn't work? Nothing because ,in 11 years I have never been wrong.

So I let him do what he was going to do.

Guess what. That was the end of it all.

Wait, no it actually it wasn't.  Far from it.

So as expected it failed to work. This process would start Sept. 5th and take the rest of the month and a week into October to actually finally fix the Internet issues.

Using Facrbook messenger I contacted Spectrum and explained how I would like to have email used from now on and they agreed. Explained everything above. And, now I do not want two different stories from dispatch and the home tech.

A supervisor calls my phone after I requested email only and they agreed to it.

I contacted them tight away tocletcthrm know that was a violation of consumer rights.

I also filed a complaint with the FCC. I wasted my time with that it turns out.

Spectrum is run by a bunch of lowlife weasels in my personal opinion.

They lied directly to the FCC and me and nothing was done to correct it.

At that point I knew that the FCC was on the side of Spectrum/Charter. What a waste of my energy thinking I could stand up for my rights.

If you are reading this and have an option other then Spectrum/Charter  or any other company run by them choose the other. It may not be much bette, but at least it won't be those turds.

And to Mr. Thomas Rutledge you are in my opinion the not even a man. You are a male sure, just not  of the human species. So what you are rich and want for nothing. This doesn't make you a man. It just means you are a self entitled turd.

These are my feelings based on how YOU treated me.

So I will treat people to what you showed me yourself.

I may decide to post all the emails and messenger posts as well as the Twitter'posts and the letters Spectrum sent. The one to the FCC and the other to me. Both are complete garbage and I do not accept or acknowledge the feeble attempt at resolving this issue.

I COULD NOT RECOMMEND ANY OTHER ISP any more than I am here.

Spectrum gets minus 100 stars for what I experienced.
